One of the main objectives of the Badr El Jundi Foundation is to continue acquiring artworks by emerging artists, thereby contributing to the development and visibility of their artistic careers. Through these acquisitions, the foundation reinforces its commitment to supporting contemporary creation and actively accompanying new generations of artists.
On the occasion of Miart 2025 the foundation awarded Catherine Repko from Huxley Parlour gallery. Catherine Repko’s work explores the emotional and physical space between sisters—through time, distance, and shared memory. Intimate and evocative, her paintings reflect on familial bonds, identity, and womanhood.
Born in the US in 1990, Repko studied at Chelsea College of Art and the University of Brighton, and is graduated of the MA in Painting at the Royal College of Art (2021). She has received the Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation Grant (2020) and the Triangle Network Fellowship (2016).
